MG ZS 2026 Overview



Morris Garages (MG) Motors, a Chinese-owned British automotive company, has launched its second car in Pakistan. The MG ZS is a subcompact crossover SUV and an affordable toned-down version of the MG HS. Internationally, the car comes in three variants: 5-Speed Manual, 6-Speed Manual, and 6-Speed Automatic. The one available in Pakistan is the 5-Speed Manual. 

MG Motors acquired the greenfield status under the Automotive Development Policy 2016-20. Javed Afridi, the CEO of Haier Pakistan, partnered with the company to set up a vehicle assembly plant in Pakistan. MG Pakistan, then, debuted in the local market with MG HS in November 2020, which received an overwhelming response from the public.

MG ZS will follow the path of its older sibling, the HS, and turn many heads in the local auto market. Other than excellent features, the MG car has the cheapest price tag and is the most affordable SUV in Pakistan.

Exterior

The SUV has the signature MG “infinity chrome grill” with Halogen headlamps, roof rails, and fog lights. MG ZS also comes with LED daytime running lights and bi-function projector headlights similar to the MG HS. 17-inch alloy wheels give the car a sporty tone. 

Interior

MG ZS has a comfortable and stylish interior with leather seats and leather steering wheel. There is a 10.1-inch touch screen, climate control, steering control, and powered mirrors.
